Football!

Tonight was Layton High School's Homecoming game, and being the loyal alumni that we are, Adam and I were in attendance. The game was against Davis...the big rivals. It was a great game and Layton won 13 to 6, yay! Go Lancers!
My parents and little brother and his girlfriend were kind enough to get there really early to save seats for us. It was kind of a big deal, I guess, because people had been saving seats since Thursday night! Crazy. Anyway, so the only seats left were right next to the band. Literally. The saxophone was blaring right next to Adam's head. Nice. It was Beckam's first football game and also just happened to be nap time. Would you believe he actually fell asleep? Impressive.

When Beckam woke up it was all a bit much for him. The yelling and the band were just too loud. He kept getting startled everytime there was an outburst so he was a little unhappy. Saylor was thrilled to see the royalty during halftime. She just stared at the "princesses", of course, and loved their dresses. She also loved the "butterflies" swarming around the lights. :) Funny girl. We ended up leaving early because she needed to use the little girls' room. You just can't be too far from the facilities when you've got a toddler around.

It was a great game and a good time. It was nice to see some of our friends and fellow alumni. It got me really excited for Fall, too! Go Lancers!

How fun!! I wish we'd known about it, and we'd have gone. Mike loves football in any way, shape or form. Though we might not have been able to score a seat. :) We went to a Syracuse game a few weeks ago. Brought back lots of memories. VERY difficult with little ones though. Fun, fun.

I've very surprised they won! They hardly ever won when I was there
