Lights at Temple Square

We went to Temple Square to see the lights and had...an interesting time. We went on the 23rd, along with the rest of the residents of this great state, so parking was ridiculous. Every spot in the JSMB was taken, aside from 1, which a lady so kindly stood in to save for herself. With 2 restless kids in the back getting dizzy from all of our circling of the lot our patience was dwindling. If you're reading this dear spot-saving lady, please know that you almost ruined Christmas. ANYWAY, we had been driving around for so long and the kids were being so good and quiet! I was praising them up and down for their patience when I looked back and found them both asleep! We hadn't even seen the lights yet!
Finally, we parked and Saylor had a m-e-l-t-d-o-w-n in the parking lot. We came so close to going home but we stuck it out. The lights were beautiful and we were really glad we didn't throw in the towel.

The pic of your kids asleep in the car look the exact same as mine this year after seeing the lights. Carly had a meltdown when we were there too, our kids would get along well.
