We had another packed weekend. It was so much fun. I have to admit though, I'm about ready for summer to wrap up. I'm so worn out!

Then Saturday we had a family reunion in Provo at my cousin's house. Saylor got to go for another train ride! They have this cute mini train that goes on a track around their house. The kids had a blast.
That night we had a reception for one of Adam's friends at the JSMB so it was back to Salt Lake. Adam also got us a room at the Hilton so we could make a night of it and not have to drive all the way home. So we took the kids with us (I know...we had our kids with us for our anniversary, we're crazy. It was actually a lot of fun)! Saylor caught a glimpse of the temple from our window and was so excited. She didn't even want to go swimming...just wanted to get to the temple as fast as she could so we could "get married". We had a yummy dinner at Macaroni Grill and then hurried over to the temple.
She absolutely loves everything about the temple. She pointed out the "fairy on the top" which was followed by a brief lesson about Angel Moroni. We went up the "roundy roundy" in the visitor's center and saw the statue of Christ, to which she commented "The white statue doesn't have any shoes!" and called him "Jesus Bush". Lots of fun.
Friday night we took "the choo choo train" into Salt Lake to watch the Tour of Utah (bike race thingy) that Matt was helping out with. We had a really good time but the highlight of the night was seeing Saylor get so excited about the train. She loved it!
She waited so patiently...

I don't think you're crazy for taking them- it sounds fun! Your kids are such cuties :) I love reading your Saylor-isms.
Your kids are so adorable! Saylor is SO funny!! Very cute pictures!
The picture of Saylor that you have on your front page of the blog. She looks just like a picture I saw of Grandma Dahl when she was little. Does a lot of people say she looks like Grandma?
