Our Science Adventure

There's always something fun happening in Daybreak. The bank down the street from our house hosted this fun little Earth science/biology activity. Saylor is really into dinosaurs and rocks and minerals...lots of sciency stuff, right now, so this was right up her alley.

They really loved panning for gold. They ended up with lots of cool minerals in their sieves and were so excited to wash them off and see what they had found.

They also learned about animals native to Utah. They got to make beaver prints in the mud.
They learned about sea shells, butterflies, fossils....so many things. And they got cookies and balloons, too.
I love that they think learning is fun!!
